Well, today I am marrying the man of my dreams. Well, that isn't even true. Because, the man of my dreams doesn't even compare to what David is.
I love him so much. I cannot wait to start my life with him. I'm sure that it isn't going to be easy. We have a lot of things ahead of us. Merging his family and my family to make it Our Family. Learning how to "live" with another human being always has it's unexpected and surprising moments in and of itself. But, still -- I would so much rather be with someone, especially him, than alone for the rest of my life.
It is such a blessing that I found someone so patient, kind, and understanding. Plus, he loves the gospel and loves serving others -- and I absolutely adore that about him. Yep, I do!
So, at about 10:30 this morning, I am going to be Mrs. David Burleigh! I cannot wait. We are then going up to Park City to the Stein Eriksen Lodge (only 4 star and 4 diamond hotel in Utah.) David got a great deal on the room. He mentioned it was our Honeymoon and they gave him $500 off! I always thought that was just a movie thing -- didn't know it happens in real life.
We then will fly out to North Carolina and spend our first 5 days married on Kure Beach :) He has family that owns a beach house out there. I've never been to the east coast. Then, we will meet up with his aunt and cousin to do some temple work in the Raleigh, NC Temple. Then, we will head up to Virginia and meet his aunt and uncle there.
I would love to try and keep our blog updated while we are gone -- but FAT chance of that. So check back .... I'll have a lot of updating when we get back!
