27!

So, on the 21st, I turned 27.  I'm very excited, because that means just three more years and I will be 30.

For some reason, I'm excited to get out of my twenties and become and thirty-something year old.  I wonder if that will change when I am actually turning 30.

Tuesday (the 22nd) we went to our pre-natal appointment.  It was so awesome.  The baby has grown from the size of a grape (last time) to about the size of a lemon.  You could totally see him/her moving on the ultrasound.  It's pretty weird to see it move, but not feel it.  He/she had her little fists up to the mouth and it looked like it was sucking.  The midwife said by 14 weeks they are really good suckers -- so the baby was probably practicing.

It is just so precious to see a life growing inside of me.  I feel so blessed to be able to have children.  It isn't always fun or easy -- but it is definitely worth it!

We had a wonderful Christmas.  I will have to post some pictures and things tomorrow.
