STUPID, FALSE contractions!

As you probably have guessed. I am still pregnant. Very much so! Believe me, it will be something to blog about when I go into labor. I will probably personally call everyone in the phone book just to let them know.

Okay. Maybe not.

Let's see, in the last week, I've had some good, false contractions. The other night, it was going on about 3 hours and then -- they just fizzled out. Um, hello? What is up with that? As Stephanie on Full House would say: "How RUDE!"

The last few days I have also started to feel kinda funny. Thought it was pregnancy related. But then last night I realized, I'm getting sick again. Another sinus/strep throat thing going on. I'm not excited to possibly be sicker than a DOG and have to give birth. Naturally.

SO... for FHE I wanted to make shirts for everyone in our family announcing the birth of our little one.

Well, Braxton left for 2 weeks with his dad last Sunday - so I helped him make his before everyone else's. Just in case I had the baby while he was gone.

I looked online at big brother t-shirt stores and he decided he liked the one that said, "Bodyguard for my new baby brother" He asked me though, "What does bodyguard mean, Mom?" I said, "well, if you're a bodyguard, that means you protect someone or something." "Oh." Then after about a 30 second silence he said, "... LIKE BUMBLEBEE???" (transformers) I said, "Exactly like Bumblebee." "Yeah, I want to make that one!" So, that's how that decision was made. If only decisions were that easy for me these days.

Last week I had to go meet Braxton's Dad for his visit with Brax. I stopped by my sister, Deb's house, and she took a couple pics of me. Also, Brax got to ride with Trav in his awesome car! Pretty sweet!

Also, last Saturday, I got to go to my friend, Bridget's, baby shower! It was so much fun and the food was REALLY good, too :) She is exactly 2 weeks behind me in her pregnancy. Her sisters have a history of going early - so if she gets her baby before I get mine, I will be super pissed! Sorry Bridge! Super happy for her - super sorry for me!
