Well, I failed to mention that we also had a "fluffy bunny" contest. Malinda and I were the only participants. We only had a few BIG marshmallows, so we decided about 10 small marshies were about the same size. I think I shoved about 80 marshmallows in my mouth. (the small ones mind you) - so we had decided I did about 8 big 'uns.
Alright, well for FHE on Monday night, we had our little lesson. Then, I wanted to play some games. One of those games: FLUFFY BUNNY!
I went first. I got 10 in my mouth - before I almost inhaled a whole marshmallow into my lungs. (I did that with my sister .... I almost died.)
David then went. He got in .... 11, I believe.
Ayla went .... she got 8.
Braxton ... he barely got 2! It was so adorable. He was laughing at us so hard and said, "I want to go, I want to go." Then he put 1/2 of one in his mouth and gagged. We told him he needed to shove it in his cheeks. He just couldn't do it. LOL. So I came over to help him.
While backing away from me, he exclaims, "Are you sure this is safe?" It was so funny.
Okay - but I had noticed when Ayla and David put theirs in ... they were totally mashing the marshmallows into their cheeks. I demanded that I go again ... because I knew I could do better!
Guess what? I did better. I was able to stuff -- 18 BIG marshmallows in my cute face! Yay for me. Dont' worry - none of us actually ate them.
(hmmmm, I'm wondering if this is really something to be proud of?)
Anyway, here are the pictures:
I'm so excited for the games to begin!
Starting out ...... I think I have 3 or 4 in my mouth
Trying to get out the words, "fluffy bunny"
David attempts to beat me (and he did by one!)
Having such a GOOD TIME!
Having a GREAT time!
And .... he has to spit it out ... OHHHHHH!
Ayla gives it a whirl ... she wouldn't look at the camera. She is almost 13. You know how that is.
If you know Ayla, you were afraid she might spray out the marshmallows because she was laughing. When she laughs and she has food/drink in her mouth. Um, pull out your umbrella.
Hhhhhhh! And it's in the trash for her, too.
Braxton attempts .... ONE!
He needed a little help from his coach.
Didn't quite like it and exclaims, "are you sure this is safe?"
Saying, "fluffy bunny" with one in his mouth.
Mom being ever-so-nurturing and shoving another marshmallow down his throat. :)
My second attempt at kicking everyone's trash!
(Shhhh. This was my plan: Stuff as many as I could in one cheek. Then match it on the other cheek. Then shove as many as I could in the middle.) IT WORKED!
(that's "fluffy bunny" for those of you who don't know)
In deep concentration.
....and almost throwing up!
Parental Advisory! (this image contains ... marshmallow drool, which might make one, like me, gag at the site of it.)
ahhhhh. man. I just about got this posted when David came in and said, "you are going to let them know the marshmallows were gone at this point, otherwise, I would have won! So, I guess if we are telling the WHOLE story - I should mention that ....... (grrrrrrr.) jk.
Contest is over. Let the games begin. We had a fun night playing, Candyland, Chutes and Ladders and Hi-Ho Cherry, Oh! Oh yeah, and Ayla and I also played Don't spill the beans!!!!!

Maria you crack me up! You guys are so dang funny. Brax is totally the rational one, so worried if it is safe. I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this post, from the pix of all y'all's faces stuffed beyond capacity, to Braxton questioning the safety of the activity. Hil.ar.i.ous. :)
