PREGO (it's in there!)

LOL. My friend Bridget and I would always say that, because that is Prego, the spaghetti sauce's, slogan.

So, yesterday, I was officially 4 months along (16 weeks). Time has FLOWN by incredibly fast. I cannot believe that in just a few weeks, I will be half-done with this pregnancy. I have been so blessed - this is all going by so quickly AND I've not been sick, sick, sick. I know that is all I ever talk about, but I was SURE that all of my pregnancy's would be horrible. Seriously, I am already thinking of possibly having another baby. Not too soon. But, this pregnancy has given me hope. Now I just have to go through the natural labor part and see if I'm still singing the same tune. I Probably won't be.

David and I go to our next pre-natal appointment next Monday. And then, 3 weeks after that. We will know if we are having a boy or girl!

Life is so good to me. Really, I seem to complain a lot. I know my husband and family have heard more of it than they would ever want to (I am still going to blame "part" of it on the pregnancy) but I am grateful. I really, really am!

So, here is my official 4 months prego picture. The pic of me in the green shirt was taken in the morning at 16 weeks and 1 day. The picture of me in the pink was taken late at night at 15 weeks and 5 days. I look so much bigger in the pink one! I'm guessing I get bigger as the day goes on. Maybe my stomach muscles give out after a 12 hour day? Who knows. I promise there is no sucking in or pushing out in either pic. :) You will also probably notice (in the pink pic) my lovely G's elastic line, which makes my tummy look wavy. That also is NOT my belly button poking out! It's the drawstring on my pants. The pic in the green ... I not only have the cute elastic line going on up high, I have the muffin top going on down lower. Very sexy! I might not make it to month 5 before I need to use the bella band or the rubber band :) So much fun!

----------

I forgot to mention in my last post that I totally saved Ben's life at the pool! No joke. I am a life-saver. I now know what it is like ... and to be honest. I hated it!

Here is the quick run-down.

We were in the kiddie-pool when the whistles started to blow and everyone was to get out. I thought it was there usual 10 minute "get out" time so they can test the water.

However, someone's child had ya know, done something awful in the pool! (David thought they said puked, I thought they said pooped.) Either way ... NASTY!

So they told all of us we were more than welcome to go to the competition pool because that pool was going to be closed for at least 30 minutes. So in we went. Only one problem. Neither boy can swim and the pool was like 10 feet deep. So they were hanging on to the walls and having a grand old time.

Well, David decides to go and do "laps".

So the boys were having fun, they'd hold on to the wall and go down to the handrails, get out, come back down by me, get into the water ... and do it all over again. They'd been doing this awhile and all seemed great. I looked up to take a gander at me sexy husband, looked back over to the boys.

MY HEART SANK! There was Brax, but no Ben. I looked down in the water and saw his poor little body sinking. His arms were flailing about in the water. I quickly jumped in (there went my whole "not getting too wet" dream) and I went down to get him. By the time I got to him, his arms weren't moving nearly as fast as they first were and I pulled him up.

He started coughing and hacking. Taking a big deep breath. He looked scared out of his mind. I'm sure I looked the exact same way as well!

Like I said, I've always wanted to know what that feeling would feel like. And, again, I absolutely HATED it. So, um, yeah.

I'm sure he was only down about 3 feet or so --- but still. Not fun. Never want to experience that again.

  2. That is really scary about Ben. I am sorry. That would freak me out. I am glad he is okay.

Alright. Onto other important things. First of all, you don't even have a freakin' stomach. I guarantee I will be in maternity clothes before you. So not fair.
