Happy Valentine's Day!

David had class this morning AND then he has to go to work later today.  So, we celebrated Valentine's a little bit earlier.

Last night we went to our favorite restaurant, Thaifoon (a taste of Asia).  That is the first restaurant he took me to AND we also had our wedding dinner party there as well.

It was so sweet because I went to sit down at the booth and David gave me a funny look and said, "do you mind sitting here?" (where he was going to sit)  I kind of gave him a funny look, but I was like ... "ok????"  After we sat down I asked him, "why did we switch?"  He responded, "I wanted you to have the better view"  I realized, that where I would have sat I would have been looking right at the wall (we were in a corner booth) and sitting on the same side of the wall, you could see the whole restaurant.  My favorite part has always been there waterfall wall --

You see folks, these are the simple, yet so sweet, things that he does that makes me LOVE him more and more!

This is us right before we headed out ---

So, like I said, David has school and work today.  This morning, I did something for him - but I will post more about that later ... after the rest of the Valentine's festivities have taken place that I have planned.

After David left I got up and got things cookin' for the kids.  I wanted to go all out - but I wasn't sure exactly what to do.  I started by making each of the kids a Valentine's sign to go along with their candies that I bought them.

Then I added their Valentine's Candies.

I decided I would make french toast for breakfast.  I wanted to cut out each piece of bread into a heart -- however, my BIG heart cookie cutter was too big for the slices of bread.  My small cookie cutter was too small and would waste a lot of bread.  So, I decided that I would just make normal french toast, but for the top part use the small cookie cutter.  Also, it is hard to tell, BUT, I also dyed the milk pink.  Had I actually thought this out more - I would have just boughten Strawberry milk mix.  But, I didn't.  :)

Braxton wasn't with us this morning.  So, he and David will get there Valentine breakfast for lunch (probably.)

And then, I'll post more about the rest of the day later.  After David gets home.  Actually, it probably won't be until tomorrow.

Which reminds me -- I HAVE TO DO SHARING TIME TOMORROW IN PRIMARY! Agggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
