So, David was at Costco a couple days ago with Ayla and saw a very much needed baby stroller for the wee one on the way.
Apparently he tried to call me, but I was not answering. So he did not get it.
Last night we went back to Costco to look at this ever-so-amazing piece of work. (To be honest, I'm not a BIG stroller fan.) I think they are big and bulky and more of a pain than a help to anyone.
Surprisingly, enough. I did like it more than I thought I would. However, there was only the display model left. We decided to take it. We also got 10% off. If ever you buy the display model, always ask the cashier there for a discount. You usually get one :)
As we were walking out of the store ... the "receipt checker person" was a cute, young thang who greeted us with her ever-so-lovely smile. She looked over the receipt than looked down at the stroller. We had also bought cranberry juice, some kirkland chicken (in cans) and strawberry jam. Since we had the stroller, we just put everything in the stroller and pushed it out. She looked up at us SO concerned and said, "Um, where is your baby?"
It was so hilarious! She was trying to see a baby underneath all of that crap. We had to explain, we just bought the stroller .... no baby. She felt so silly and started laughing. We did too. It was a good way to end the day. :)
